The Role:
We are seeking a Planning Research Analyst who is motivated, enthusiastic, and has a sharp eye for detail. This role is less about years of experience and more about the energy and insight you bring to the table.
You will be delving into multifaceted information, analyzing extensive data, and playing a pivotal role in our strategic decision-making process.
In this role, you'll be part of our team known for its hands-on approach and unwavering motivation, supporting each other to achieve common goals and ensuring a collaborative and enriching work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research through diverse materials including media reports, planning authority documents, and other relevant sources, focusing on town, strategic and urban planning perspectives.
- Engage in proactive communication, including calls to relevant contacts, to gather, confirm, or follow up on information.
- Manage and continuously evolve existing processes for research and analysis efficiency. You will be provided with detailed orientation and ongoing support to ensure you are well-equipped and comfortable in your role.
- Utilize technology for data gathering, processing, and reporting.
- Summarize and report findings clearly, contributing to our strategic planning and project development and upload these to our reporting system.
- Participate in online team meetings to present your research insights to the team.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the team through instant messaging platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration.
About You:
- You have a background in town planning, strategic planning, or urban planning, whether that's as a recent graduate just starting out or as a more experienced professional.
