Planning Research Analyst (Remote Friendly)
Develotek is a dynamic property development group that operates both independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders, specializing in delivering medium to large scale residential projects across the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
As a remote-friendly organization embracing the ‘productivity anywhere’ model, we've invested extensively in collaboration and communication cloud-based systems. This allows our team the flexibility to work efficiently from home or our CBD office. We provide all necessary equipment, including laptops, multiple monitors, printers, and mobile phones, to ensure a seamless work experience regardless of location.
With upcoming luxury projects like a waterfront development in the inner west (biancadrummoyne.com.au) and a mixed-use high-rise on the North Shore, we're in a period of exciting growth.
Our small but ambitious team is dedicated to achieving goals and continually innovating in our field.
We are seeking a Planning Research Analyst who is motivated, enthusiastic, and has a sharp eye for detail. This role is less about years of experience and more about the energy and insight you bring to the table.

In this role, you'll be part of our team known for its hands-on approach and unwavering motivation, supporting each other to achieve common goals and ensuring a collaborative and enriching work environment.

- Engage in proactive communication, including calls to relevant contacts, to gather, confirm, or follow up on information.
- Manage and continuously evolve existing processes for research and analysis efficiency. You will be provided with detailed orientation and ongoing support to ensure you are well-equipped and comfortable in your role.
- Utilize technology for data gathering, processing, and reporting.
- Summarize and report findings clearly, contributing to our strategic planning and project development and upload these to our reporting system.
- Participate in online team meetings to present your research insights to the team.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the team through instant messaging platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- You have a background in town planning, strategic planning, or urban planning, whether that's as a recent graduate just starting out or as a more experienced professional.
- Regardless of your experience level, what matters most is your motivation, enthusiasm, and a detail-oriented approach to analyzing information.
- You are eager to engage in an environment that offers abundant opportunities for learning and professional growth.
- Capable of both independent initiative and collaborative teamwork, you are ready to contribute to diverse planning projects.
- Strong familiarity with Sydney Metropolitan Geography
